Littlecreek Mobile Vet only provides the service of in-home pet euthanasia. No wellness visits are currently offered due to an inability to provide necessary radiographs, surgery, or hospitalization when necessary.

In-home euthanasia can seem to be a longer process than it is at a veterinary hospital. The process of sedation, giving the final injection, and preparing the beloved pet’s body for burial or cremation by wrapping in a blanket takes between 30 – 60 minutes. The process of euthanasia in a veterinary hospital may sometimes be made more efficient by the placement of an IV catheter beforehand. The ability to leave immediately after saying a final goodbye to a furry family member is also comforting to some individuals, as is the option to not be present for the injections.

The primary benefit of an in-home euthanasia for pets in need of an easier transition is that pets are often more relaxed and comfortable in their home environment, and their people are too.
